In June 2016, DP World was awarded a 50 year Concession to build and operate the first deep water port in Ecuador. The investment has been divided into two phases and its first phase began with construction in July 2017 and is scheduled to end in 2019.

A 20 km road connecting the terminal to the main highway network, ensuring a quick, orderly and safe access to the port.


Access Channel

A new and more secure access channel to the Guayas River with a 16,5 meters depth and a length of 21 nautical miles.
